switching from licensed to original floyd rose

my esp has a licensed floyd rose double locking bridge and it works and every thing but it's not exactly "low profile", it sticks up from the body like an inch. i dont like how it looks.i noticed that the original floyd roses are alot lower profile. is it posible to buy an original floyd rose and switch them? would i have to do some routing? any info on this would help me. thanks everybody. :cool:

take your guitar into a techie at your local guitar store and he'll be able to tell you, it's hard to tell without having the guitar or knowing the exact model, most likely i'd say that it shouldn't be too difficult.
