Hey Kids!

Feeling in a country-rock kinda mood. A quick post on the terrific three-guitar interplay between Don Felder, Glen Frye, and Joe Walsh. Still very sad that the Eagles let Felder go.

Anyway, just a fan here of the Eagles and wanted to see what others thought of their guitar work. I just love the skilled playing involved in that band, even pre-Walsh. My favorite tune is the Felder penned, 'Hotel California'. That is simply guitar compositional genius. I wish I could play like Don Felder. I don't think many realize how great he is on guitar.

Yeah, the Eagles are cool. I mean, I hate country with a passion, but I really like the Eagles! :D

That definitely sounds like Walsh. A friend of mine was a concierge at Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colo. Springs and was driving Joe around for a day about 10 years back and he said the poor guy was just toasted in the back seat of the limo. Said he was a nice guy, but simply blitzed that day.

Amazing how these creative types can also be really unstable..... Does it go hand-in-hand?
