Well since i dont see any threads about it, i thought Id make it. ANyone see the VH1 Rock Honors? What did you guys think about the performances? I gotta say that seeing Rob Zombie, Slash, Scott Ian, Ace Frehly, Tommy Lee, and Gilby Clarke playing an awesome kiss song was too good for words. And the other performances were awesome too, what with Queen, Judas Priest, Kiss, and Def Leppard. Terrific...terrific.

I thought it was awesome! I really like the KISS tribute though. SLASH was in it! They played "God of Thunder", it was great! They could have done with out def leppard, the pansies!

Yea it was really kick ass. I actually thought Queen did the most powerful performance with "Show Must Go On".

Foo Fighters did a great job on Tie your mother down.
Poor Ace was struggling to play the guitar solo so Slash had to step up and take over I guess to many years of Boozin it up takes its toll. :(
Over all the show ROCKED. :D

Was I too drunk to hear it right or did Brian May hit several BAD notes and chords? I thought his ax was out of tune for a whole minute. I am no dogging on the dude, hell is one of the best, but even my ol' lady noticed his sound. Did any body hear it or do I need to lay off the beer?
