if you both truly love each other then i think you shouldnt let anything get in your way..

reminds me of the song "children of the night" by whitesnake... "don't hide what you feel inside dont let anybody get in your way..."

but if things dont work out well.. as in here's a good situation:

your boss doesnt want you to go with her but you do anyway then you end up breaking up really ugly and your boss is already mad at you and you lose your girlfriend and your job.

a similar situation happened to me just last week where i lost a very good friend over a girl.

if the girl's not gonna cooperate with your buds then i say i'd rather keep a very good friend than a girl i just met. Bros before hoes dude.
