Congratulations, man. I say go ahead with it, but have a candid talk about it with your boss first. Hopefully he will indeed be fine with it, having understood how you two feel about each other. If he's got a problem, you need to reason it out with him. It may be hard, but you've got to try and get him to come around - it's worth it. Gamble everything for love! :D
