Has some very good synth sounds. At least the demo's do anyway.

the only thing i dont like is that even though the pickup it comes with can be taped on it really needs to be screwed in and that is a big proiblem on any of my guitars got any sugestions?

well, everything songs good in the demo. :p but roland is good quality- their guitar synth is one of the only on the market.
not worth it in my book though. sure, you can get alot of sounds out of it and stuff, but in the long run, I doubt you'd use it that much. its more of a novelty than anything, IMO.

I spent a good few hours dickinga round with one, and R really liked it, it has so many possibilities...you can even play "drums" on your guitar, with different strings corresponding to dif drums...I was gonna buy one, but like Rockonn said, it said to be too much of a niche pedal...when I used it in songs it would sound great, but I hoenstly didnt think I'd use it in too many songs...
that said, I am thinking of getting one now, and recording all of the parts on to my Jam man, and looping them live.

hmmm, I hadnt thought about that. I'd say that would be the only way you would use it to its full money worth.

I use a Roland GR700 and couldn't do without it as far as recording goes.
I use it for everything, like drums, bass, keys, synth etc... Plus you can use it to trigger your recording software or trigger samples by hitting certain key combo's.
When you use it live you can fade in the synth in the background so you can play chords and have soft strings in the background or whatever you want.
As far as the sounds go, it's midi, so it doesn't matter what it has onboard.
You can plug it into any MIDI keyboard, sound module or VSTi synth.

...It sounds pretty cool, and seems like it would be useful for recording. The only thing I really really didn't like was the saxaphone. Maybe it's because i'm a sax player but that just doesn't feel right. It sounds way to... well, I'm not sure, but I know there is no way I'd be able to do that setting.
