Hey guys i have this guitar that i had for years and i always experiment new stuff on it or should i say take apart and re build,well i filed one of the frets too far down and i dont know what to do, is there any way i can fix without buying a new neck? or do i gotta buy the neck.

it's possible to replace fretwire, but it is pretty difficult. If you don't know what you're doing, I'd take it to a tech. Though, it can be pretty expensive.

>StewMac< has some books on fretwork, as well as all the tools and materials. Fretting is pretty hardcore, but you say this axe is something you've been using for experimenting, so what the heck.
