heavy warm feeling

hey I got a ibanez amp tone blaster50r and a digitech hot head,how can i get more heavy warm crunch from it ,should i change my pick-ups, i still have the factory. :confused:

Pickups can help, but in my book, it all starts with a big ol' tube amp.

You can still get some warm tones out of a solid-state, though... try turning the bass up a bit. What type of guitar did you say that you played?
