Bridge/Tremelo
Does anyone know how to properly lock a Fender Stratocaster's floating bridge/tremelo system? And what I need to do it?

yeah i think i've seen some people using blocks of wood. I dont really use the whammy bar and it seems the bridge is causing me to break strings very easily and its hard to string the guitar just right.
So what do you guys recommend I get? The wood (If so, would i be able to install it myself?) or the spring replacement which is 50$ btw.

On my strat i just tightened up the trem springs (remember to slacken the strings first!) and made a wooden block to fit between the trem block and cavity (also increases sustain :) ) sorted, hope this helps dude.

I met my maker, i made him cry, and on my shoulder he asked me why, his people won't fly thru the storm, i said, listen here man they don't even know your born.
