I haven't posted anything for a while mainly because I've got too many projects under "development" and haven't finished many of them and the ones I have finished probably wouldn't suit a guitar forum. :(

I found these lyrics yesterday. It's the first song I ever wrote  and why I've still got them is a total mystery to me. I have trouble finding my passport let alone bits of paper from ** years ago

Excuse the level of lyrics, I had only just started to play guitar and could do E, A and B7. I thought that playing guitar would get me women and this song demonstrated that I'd need more than a guitar when my first girlfriend dumped me (and I'd never even got to first base). This song was for her (slut ;) )

Anyway, I thought I'd see how it would sound now with all the guitar excess I could manage and might also give me a chance to actually finish a piece. So here it is, a cod blues, warts and all.

Recorded on a Zoom 1608 using Zoom drums. Guitar is my Strat running through a Boss GT8 and the bass is DI'd direct to the Zoom.

Not the most serious of my songs but at least I've finished something :D

No Money Blues - mp3

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I dunno about modesty, I am aware of my failings but if you make enough noise I find it distracts people ;)

Cheers
