I'm sorry!!

:o This morning, in the "Official fee petition" thread, I posted, "Akira! This man needs a tumbleweed!" in reply to one of z0s0's post. I have just discovered that my reputation is negative on this post, which clearly means I've said something inappropriate.

I just want to sincerely apologise to everyone for doing so. I didn't mean to be disruptive or offensive, and I don't know whether what I did was inappropriate because it was derisive in tone, or because it might have sent the thread off on a random tangent, or because the "tumbleweed" thing has been banned and I missed it, or because what I said hurt z0s0's feelings; but I certainly realise that what I said was wrong and has clearly offended somebody. I apologise to anybody and everybody who found my stupid post inappropriate, and to everybody who finds me rude or annoying in general. I promise to be more careful about what I say in the future, with more regard for the policies of the moderators.

It was probably in response to the recent attempts to cut down on that kind of thing. Y'know, veering thread topics with random pictures and what have you. Especially outside of the open discussion thread. Kind of a stop it before it happens deal.

You rude....ha...you're like the nicest guy around here. I wouldn't sweat it, there's been tons of posts I've wanted to give negative rep for, but realized it would either start a feud, or I've misinterpreted the text.

O...how do you know if you get negative rep? Is that the grey square?

I got a red square, with a note that said, "Zzzzzzzzinggggggg!" (or somesuch).

I think neg rep is given by clicking I dissaprove under the "what do you think of this post?" on the rep box.

You're a good guy, 'jitsu. If it was me who got some negative rep, there's no way in heck I'd apologize for it. I'd just harbour a secret hate for humanity because of it, go mad, and blow up some government building.

Apologizing is probably better for everyone.
