Has anyone seen this new program on TV? There's a 12 year old boy on that show that is awesome on the guitar. A friend told me to check out the program. I must go practice now.

No, not the one with Gene. That was a good show too though. This is a new one. The guy has a school where he teaches kids that are ages 9-17 and there is a 12 year old that rocks!

I saw the movie. where a down and out guitar player takes a job as a tempoary teacher, using his best friends credentials (without the friends knowledge, of course). So he decides to turn the class into a "kick ass band". Then he enters the class/ band into the battle of the bands. Just as show time arrives the parents and principle discover his plan and...... The movie got an emmy I for one enjoyed it and would watch it again anytime. :)

Hmm... are you talking about Rock School, where there's that guy who gives music lessons to troubled kids, who eventually go and perform Black Sabbath songs overseas? I think I saw an ad for that.
"It's all folk music... I ain't never heard no horse sing!"
- Attributed variously to Leadbelly and Louis Armstrong

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

Haven't seen that one. These are american kids in an american private school, around the age of 12 or 13. They are all cool kids and if he can't find a spot in the band for them he gives them a job like lighting-sound- manager ect.

You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.

Yeah, there have been alot more shows about it since the film. The show is called school of rock I think and yeah it's the one where they perform the Black Sabbath songs and now they are working on some Frank Zappa stuff.
