I just got a Fender 60 amp - all tube - with 4 x 10 inch speakers. I like it. I try other amps but always come back to Fender. I have a twin that is 24 years old and still runs. Granted It needs reworking but I'll never sell it. Fender stands the test of time. I also played on a Fender 1959 tweed reissue and I thought it sounded great for my style. Hey I can always get a signal processor. :)

Fender has been a trade standard for a long time. S R V used a super reverb. See any music shows on the tv or other medium and U will allways see some Fender amps on stage. :)

I love my fender amps! My main amp is a Super Reverb. I got it because I thought it had more personality than the twin. It actually can break up into overdrive! And, I was going to get a marshall buuut I couldn't live without the fender cleans! So I bought a reeallly good distortion pedal. So now it sounds like a marshall AND a fender. I also loved the 4x10 setup. With my combo of pedals I can get any sound possible! It ALL good!

yer recently people have been going a bit anti-marshall. I guess marshall have become pretty mainstream and have used the reputation to allow them to charge more for their products. People with little money look for alternatives to Marshall and are often suprised that a lot of amps seem to perform as good or better then Marshall amps. They should just sell the Marshall decal, then we could all have a marshall, yay!
