I have a limited wallet but im trying to get a good electric guitar. Should I get a Kramer Focus from musicyo.com? Does anybody like them? Or how about The Squier Bullet?

The Kramer Focus got a less than enthusiastic response from the guitar magazines here in England - they liked the price and the idea of buying online, but didn't much like the quality.

I'd say take your hard-earned down to the local guitar store and see what they have in the used section - dollar for dollar you'll get a better used guitar than new. If this is your first electric guitar, I'd say try Epiphone (if you like the Gibson vibe) or Fender Squier, but as always, so much depends on how much cash you can raise.

Like the man said, you pays your money and you takes your choice!

You might want to check out "Solimar" guitars. I read about them on this site, and I checked their website. The guitars look pretty good, and they've had some good reviews.

There was a thread on them on this site, which also had the website address, which I've forgotten (something like route101.com or something). The thread also will give you a general idea of what people thought of Solimar guitars.
... and that's all I have to say about that.

Your best bet is go for a good used guitar.
plus don/t mess with the student guitars thier not worth,
a crap.
Youll be sorry if you get student guitar ,sometimes,
the salesmen will try to put you into the student guitar.
think mabee like a fender squire.thier not bad (strat)
also without the wammy bar because they go out of tune,
to much even ,the floyd rose wammy bar will go out of tune.

i played squier strat till this, week when i got a new guitar (fender fat strat deluxe)
the squier was ok, but hard to perform with because the pickups did alot of feedbacks on high volume

but i know better.
It is not I who am crazy.
It is I who am mad.."
