I am also a wood finish man like Nijie...have to see a nice grain...I love flamed maple, but my pride and joy is my quilted maple-topped Paul Reed Smith Custom 22 artist package...its also my dream guitar incidentally...so glad I own it.

I wouldnt mind a Nathan Sheppard Nsg2, a Black Machine 8 string, a Nik Huber Orca, or Dolphin...want all of those...

also a Tom Anderson Drop Top and a nice Suhr, Melancon or Valley Arts...all along similar lines in terms or manufacturers...I want some more nice classy guitars.
