Any baseball players here?

It's almost little league season and I'm stoked.

Also, anyone got any good links to any baseball forums, websites, instruction videos etc...

...or am I barking up the wrong tree?

ok...I honestly didn't mean to write little league. I don't know why I did.

O...and I'm 16. Where do you play?

I used to play little league when i was a kid and i played for my high school, but that was 5 years ago. My friends and i play over the summer when we can get enough people together for a full game. But i'm always content to just go outside and have a catch. Grew up playing baseball in a baseball town.

I play softball, but i haven't played since sophomore year (due to the fact of having a job). I'm on a co-ed softball team right now. I hope to be able to play a little bit in college (if not for a college team, then for something like a rec league).

Ha, nice one. :D

I think 4/20 is such a stupid thing to celebrate.

Honestly, I'd love to be celebrating, but I'm preparing for a drug test for work :( . As long as getting blazed doesn't keep you from getting your s*** done, I don't see the big deal. But I'm clean right now, so it doesnt really matter

I played Broncho, Pony, and Colt... for Tippy Fire and also played for Northern Express in Colt... My team went to the World Series in Omaha for Pony Baseball... which is for ages 13-15 and the Colt World Series is held here in my hometown of Lafayette, Indiana... My Colt team also made it to that... we lost to the Puerto Rican team by one run... they ended up winning the World Series... I played shortstop on my Varsity team for 4 years at Rensselaer Central High School... I was all-conference all 4 years and all-state my junior and senior year and selected to numerous all area teams and all star teams...I played in the North/South allstar game as well..... My high school team won 3 Sectional Campionships and 1 conference championship.... I also played American Legion baseball for Remington Post 180 where my team won a sectional championsip... after my senior year I played for an ABA (Ameture Baseball Association) 18 year old team called the Indiana Bulls... we went to the World Championships in Toronto... but lost to the team that won it all... they were some team from Florida. After High School I was "suppose" to get drafted but I never did... I worked out with the Atlanta Braves but never got drafted... So I went to play at Tri-State University... I chose them over Purdue at first... I played there for 2 years while I studied mechanical Engineering... My Sophomore year I tore my Labrum (Tendon my throwing shoulder) and missed my Junior year... and decided to hang up my cleats... So I transferred to Purdue, where I'm at now... Phew.... that was a lot more to type than I thought it was going to be......... but yeah... Baseball is my first love... I still think about giving Coach Schreiber at Purdue and seeing if I can play my last two years of eligability.... haha... I miss it
