The Eagles. I really didn't think they'd be on the list.

Black Sabbath, in terms of talent anyway. I would say Zeppelin but I'm mad at them for all the ripping off they apparently did.
You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.

I think Led Zep is more talented than Black Sabbath, ripoffs or not. So I'm-a go with Zeppelin.

Iron Maiden.

Flat out THE most consistently solid, musically sound band out there. My favorite band since the first day I heard them and they still haven't been replaced.

My favorite band is Morphine.

Following close behind, though in no special order: Stone Temple Pilots, Primus, The Gits, Alice in Chains, The Refreshments/Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers, Soundgarden, Children of Bodom, and Fishbone.

I think he meant you were supposed to choose from the list he provided.

From that list, Maiden most definitely, and possibly even if it wasnt on the list. I change a lot with my mood.

Depends what you classify as "the best." Personally, my musical taste has grown to taking a preference to bands that play music that isnt all that easy to digest. I like bands like AC/DC and Sabbath, but the whole one riff and then solo over it with the pentatonic scale really isnt my favorite thing to listen to. All depends on your preference. Seems that everyone likes Stairway. So I guess it should be right up there.

My all-time favourite band is Pink Floyd, but out of the bands on the list, it would be a tie between Maiden and Sabbath, with Led Zeppelin not too far behind.

From the list... probably have to say Metallica........... They're all great bands. I like them all. But I personally listen to more Metallica than any of the others so I have to say them.... Doesn't make them a better band than any of the others though.

Other Favs

New Rock Band: 10 Years, Mars Volta
Modern Rock Band: Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Chevelle
Acoustic: Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, John Mayer
Blues: Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, SRV
Classic/Oldies: Creedence Clearwater Revival, Allman Brothers, Beatles

my favs in a nutshell... probably forgot a few...

Cause we've always been told it's our favourite song...There's backmasking, which creates contreversy and interest...it's a decent song (though not the best)...AND THE MIND CONTROL DRUGS IN OUR FLU SHOTS TELL US WE LIKE IT...
