Hello,I've been working on some "whammy control" techniques and it struck me that the curve of the bar itself isn't quite right for me.I was wondering if it's common for players to customize the gooseneck angle ?Any input would be appreciated.Thanks.

on may trems you can ajust the height and stifness that the tremelo turns also i think you can get different shaped ones for smaller or bigger hands.

i do know what you mean though, i had a friend who hap a wammy bar a ludicrous distance from the strings at a very steep angle, it made it very hard to actually use it. added to that it was a strat style one and was really really stiff.

I dont recomend it, but just take a look at the ZOOM BAR. Its a whammy bar that extends so you can dive bomb while you tap. Its a pretty cool toy.
