Sooooo...Hows your teams doin? At the moment, mine is the best in the major league. You dont brag about your team in April after 11 games though, so Ill just hope they keep up the great play. LETS GO METS!!!!!

I went down to visit the sister this last week in NYC and we hit up a couple of games. Heres some pics:

The field on rain delay Friday night, luckily we were under the deck above us so we stayed dry as a thistle.

The O's are currently sitting in a tie for 2nd with Tampa Bay in the AL East. It's a tight race right now. But like you said, it's waay early. And btw, the best 3rd basemen in the NL is Scott Rolen (when he's healthy)...but David Wright is up there.

I'd like to see that lol! The Mets are on a tear though. I dont mind the Mets, its the Yankees i HATE :mad: ! I guess you're probably with me on that one. It'll be intersting to see if they'll end up competing for the division against the Braves this year. 15 consecutive division titles is A LOT! Big win tonight against the Braves.

Dude, both nights we had "Yankees Suck!" chants going. I hate them with more of a passion than I hate anything else, and if ya know me, I hate a lot of things.

Pedro lead us to victory tonight. Xavier Nady and Carlos Delgado both homered for the second day in a row. Nady.....wow.

Mets fans are to the Yankees as the White Sox fans are to the Cubs... The only difference... the Yankees win...

I'm a White Sox. I've been bleeding black since I was a wee-one.

Annnnnnnnd, whoever made the comment of "I'm a better 3rd baseman than Scott Rolen".... you're crazy. I realize you're being sarcastic... Rolen is an Indiana boy like myself... and I'm proud to say that my junior year I tied his state record for doubles in a season... I should have broken it but one game got rained out before the 4th inning and I already had 2 doubles... so they didn't count.

Go SOX!

I'm a Liverpool fan...how about you? (I know, I know, but I started supporting them years back, when I was in South Africa and had no idea how bad scousers are)

The Yankee$ should win. They spend $200 million on their team every year. The Mets lineup is just as relentless as the Yankee lineup and $100 million cheaper. They still cant seem to win though, cuz King George gets a bunch of has been old timers on his team who we're great in their prime.

People seem to forget that the Yankees have't won the WS since 2000...Which is a long time for a team that is the perrenial highest paid team, by far. Especially considering how many they won in the 90's. Just goes to show you that team CHEMISTRY can go a long way...and i believe that WS win was the Subway Series against your Mets :p

As for my Orioles, they go from looking really good, to really bad, really quickly. I miss when they used to compete for division titles and it feels like it'll be a while before they de-throne the yanks and sox. Damn, Peter Angelos (worst owner in baseball) :mad:

My favorite thing is when entirely unrelated sporting events suddenly arouse the "Yankees Suck" cheer. Like Bruins and Patriots games (although I don't care about hockey and I hate the Patriots).

I think we have some right to it here also, being its within the state limits, but out of state use other than NY and New England has to be consented.

We've lost 2 straight to Atlanta now due to our lineup hurting because of some minor injuries. The starters are great, but there is no depth at all, including the pitching staff, which scares me a little bit.

Excuse me?!? I think I've got plenty right to the "Yankees suck" chants as you all do, being that my team is IN THE SAME DIVISION :p . The Mets rarely have to play the Yanks anyways. As an O's fan, I have rights to "Yankees suck", "Sox suck", "Jays sucks" and "Rays suck". I tihnk anyone who isn't a Yankees fan can use "Yankees suck". Maybe if every Yankees hater in the country organizes to start the chant at the same exact time, the Yankees will magically disappear! :D Or just hope that Steinbrenner croaks!

Trying being a Pirates fan. Until you are, you don't know how deep pain can go....

Of course, we do have the Steelers. That kinda makes up for it.
