Great start there, man. You've got a really nice, thick tone, and the riff is certainly catchy. The only real issue is the timing, but playing over a drum track will probably sort that out for you. Well done!

Oh, and Elephant Pie is a cool name!

Not bad... but personally I find the overdrive tone really 'fuzzy'.
Sounds almost like a guitar played through an effects unit rather than an amp.
What kind of effects are you using and do you have an effects send/receive plug on your pedal?
If so, you might want to consider getting an amp emulator... like Redbox II.
It'll take that 'fuzzy' sound and make it more like a real amp.

You've got a few timing issues as well. You might try playing to a metronome or drum machine.
The intro is good, but I'd shorten it a little and go into the overdrive portion sooner.

All my own opinions though... otherwise, pretty good job.

thanks for the feedback, im using a zoom effects pedal, and the effect I was on does turn out a little bad a fuzzy like you said, as for the timing, i was multitracking and every time it was like second off or something so I finally gave up when it was somewhat decent, do you think I would be a good idea to get a pod live xt? I was thinking I could use that live and it would be good fro recording, thanks

Anything but a Zoom, man! Although it did sound surprisingly good on that track, but that's probably because of your LP.

It is a great start to a kick ass song with great potential. The lead does loes tempo with the rythm for a big-but thats totally understandable seeing how there was no drums. Good work bud.

i really liked the last one, but the solo kind of killed it for me. it just didnt go with the rest of the song in my opinion.
