I was wondering how many other die-hard blues guitarists there are on this site. I am talking, when you write a song/lick its the blues, sing - the blues. I dont just mean you like it. i am looking for the committed Blues guitarists here.
well Go...
When it comes down to it, our guitar's will always be there for us.

I'd like to ask the same question, directed at any jazz guitarists out there...
"It's all folk music... I ain't never heard no horse sing!"
- Attributed variously to Leadbelly and Louis Armstrong

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

I admit it... I'm a die hard blues fanatic... Anything blues, I love it. Joe Bonamassa is one of my favorite blues artists right now... I own several Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker albums... as well as Robert Johnson. 90% of the stuff I play is blues oriented and I can't get away from it...... I'll be jamming some kind of crazy metal riffs and bust into a slow emotional blues lead over the top... I can't help myself. It's the blues but I love it.

I don't much like listening to the blues, but every time I try to solo, it comes out as the blues.

I'm hardcore trying to get ready for my audition at Shepherd now. I'm about 99.9% sure I'll get in, but I still want to have a solid two songs and review all the theory neccessary. If I don't get in that means art education as a major for me... or I might just go to a New Orleans community college like Delgado.

I'm not hardcore anything, I'm into all the genres. For the past year I've been in a classical and flamenco stage.
