then don't fix it! just sell it, the person who you sell it to probably won't notice anyway. then you have your cash, and he's got a guitar, and if the sound really bothers him, then he can find his own way to fix it.

don't even mention it when you're selling it. if they test it out, and they don't notice it, then they probably don't care anyway.
