I have a Buddy Guy Fender Strat with Lace Sensor pickups in it. Recently I noticed that my clean tone was distorted. It also seems like it's louder than it was before.

At first I thought it was the amp, but I tried it on three or four different amps and it sounded distorted every time. If I keep the guitar volume down, the tone is clean, but as soon as I turn it up the distortion comes back.

Anyone have any ideas? I have changed the battery out several times as well, so I'm pretty sure it's not that.
