What is your band's current name?
"It's all folk music... I ain't never heard no horse sing!"
- Attributed variously to Leadbelly and Louis Armstrong

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

Maybe I shouldn't have said 'change'. I don't think we have one yet.

We're kind of like a jam oriented/prog/rock band.

Sounds groovy. Only I'd spell it "Tha Middknight Sölar" because it's obviously a lot cooler that way.

I dono, its nice
but if you sorta switch it around, to The "Solar Midknights"
i dono its gotta a ring to it.
whatever its all good. my bands name was Inertia, so what do i know, before that we were "yellow fish banana's"
to the "parana's" and thats why we probably broke up. you gotta have a good name. Judge every book by its cover/name.
When it comes down to it, our guitar's will always be there for us.

Hmm, I don't know - Henry Cow is a ridiculous name for a band, but I think they're great. On the other hand, the Deftones is a pretty cool name for a band, and I can't stand them.

Me and acapella spend a good portion of our time coming up with funny names for metal bands. Like "Piggybäkk" or "Krönnik Payne."

I don't think I'm in a position to really argue band names. I've got two bands going and the only one that has a title of any kind (until we get a new one) is called "Hulk Big Knife." Yeah, so I dunno. If it feels right, then go for it.

Sorry, Jeff...

Hey Eric, how about "The Reocurring Nightmares"? I always thought that was a pretty cool name for a band.

If by "huge fan" you mean "guy who likes to make fun of them," then yes.

Actually, I've never really listened to Motorhead, they might be good. I don't like Motley Crue.

Motley Crue is a very guilty pleasure of mine. I'm aware they're talentless and awful, but I still listen to their horrendously cliche and cheesy music.
