I found an interesting site with some cool scales tabbed out that I had never seen before. I particularily like the Algerian and Yona Nuki scales, of interest to anyone who likes Marty Friedman's sound.

Anyone got any other good links or tabs for interesting exotic sounding scales?

PS I didnt post this one in the "Interesting Sites" forum because this directly relates to guitar playing and style.

The March edition of GuitarOne has a whole section of exotic scales if anyone wants to go out and get it. Its really interesting.

Very cool Mike. If you have the money, I would recomend purchasing the Guitar Grimoire book that covers scales and modes. There are some very interesting scales in it and they can be very influencial. They can add a lot of color to your music and making it more interesting and less cliche.
