Hbkolb - Sing Praise - new song pre vox

Hmm, interesting. The overall tone seems a little more complex than your last piece - ought to suit some poetic or abstract lyrics. The chordal idea grew on me, and turns out to be very effective. The lead guitar had perhaps a little too much drive, but the structure of the solo was perfect. Keep at it, mate - well done. :)
"It's all folk music... I ain't never heard no horse sing!"
- Attributed variously to Leadbelly and Louis Armstrong
If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

SUH-WEET. It remind's me of a Neil Finn song that I can't quite remember at the moment. I guess everything reminds me of Neil Finn at the moment though.
The intro is really cool but I keep waiting for an awesome moment for the bass to come in. I think it could really do with that (IMO)
I'm trying to hear the lyrics in my head as I listen to this and I can't quite hear them yet. I'm interested to hear how this comes out.
Time for the solo! It's reminding me of Richie Sambora's second solo on Bon Jovi's Dry County (an awesome song). I think the solo could do with a second take though, there are a couple of timing issues which while minor, throw the solo off it's groove.
All in all a pretty sweet track that just needs some tweaking to become a totally awesome one.

Right on Julian, I appreciate your suggestions, the bass will def hit much harder. The lead was a one take so that may get replaced. I do have the vox, but I'm gonna have to sing this one myself so it will be a little while. The only vox I have ever done sound just like old "Kreator" so as you could imagine, lots a work. I will definetly post it when its closer to being done!! Thanks for your time. :)
