I use a 2 x 12 150 watt Spider II and love it. It is very versatile and makes recording easy if you don't have any decent mics ( you can plug in directly ).

Although the tone is not tube or the highest quality ever, its definately worth the money I paid. The range of genres one can play is very wide and I would only trade this amp in if I had the money for a high quality tube amp ( Mesa/Marshall ).

It's all up to you, but my vote is definately Line 6.

P.S. It still sounds better than 90% of the SS amps out there. ( Modeling rocks )
