Dude!!! It's far from over.....I just turned fifty, and I've never played better then I do right now! Sure, there are plenty of younger players out there. So what. I play in two bands right now, and we play as much as we want to. Just get out there and find some open mic jams. You will be amazed at how many players are out there with the same goals as you. God gave us all the gift of guitar.....don't ignore it just because life handed you a bag of sh**. We all go through lifes challanges. Is there a big recording contract out there for you and me??? I doubt it. But that doesn't mean you can't still find ways to perform in front of thousands of people if you want to. We open for national acts all the time, when they pass throgh our area. I'll play a 90 minute set, get off stage and ice up a cold one, watching the show from backstage. And if I can do it, anyone can!!! I've opened for Dokken, Cinderella, Firehouse, Warrent, Molly Hatchet, Sammy Hagar( who was totally cool.....really interested in the local music scene!!) etc....Good luck to you my friend....plug in and wail!!!!
Hey, this doesn't mean I'm a bad person.......
