So other than guitarists, what else we got here?

I play trombone much better than I play guitar. Actually gotten payed a couple times to play in pit bands for plays. I enjoy trombone muchly. Jazz is cool but trombone improv is a little different than guitar improv, so its fairly difficult. I really like playing marches. Ive thought about the possiblity of becoming a music major and practicing my behind off and seeing if I can get into the US military band. That would be SWEET.

Anyways, I also can play baritone, but I dont play it much. I can play some drum set but Im not great at them either. My mom's a band teacher, so over the years Ive gotten to play pretty much everything at one time or another.

What do yall play?

You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.

I played classical piano for ten years - at my parents' insistence. I finally quit when I was fifteen and started playing jazz instead, but by then I had a bit of a hate issue with the piano, so eventually I gave it away altogether and haven't touched it since. I also learned to play the bass when I was thirteen; and I've never had lessons, but I'm a passable singer, as well.

I play bass and keyboard as well. Well, I try and play the keyboard. I'm interested in string instruments enough to willingly play any of them.

Besides guitar, I play bass (when acapella lets me use his), keyboard, harmonica, and mandolin. Well, any stringed instrument, really, but mandolin is my favey.

You also need the "circular breathing" technique to play the didgeridoo - you have to snort in a lungful of air through your nose while you're blowing out a note. It's damn hard, I still can't do it. I have a friend who plays the tuba, and as a result already knows the circular breathing technique - he learned to play the didgeridoo very well in a flash.

I think it's a co-ordination thing. I guess I just have an unco respiratory system.

I occasionally play bass, not like the greatest bassist that there ever was, but it's not hard to pick it up once you know guitar. I also have a deep interest in piano and really want to learn, mainly because classical music is awesome, but really hard to play on guitar (try as I might) I'm terrible at percussion though, but I think I just need some practice. I also want to learn drums.

I play guitar, piano, and a bit of bass...come to think of it, a bit of piano as well...and I play Didge...but, I too have not quite got the whole circular breathing technique nailed...so I suck...
