Ok i'm learning to play "the only medicine" solo by Scary Kids Scaring Kids
and theres one part that involves extremely fast pull offs:
E-18p15-------18p15-18p15-------18p1518p15---------18p15----18b--
B-------18p15--------------18p15-------------18p15------------------

So yeah i cant do it quite fast enough, so i was wondering if maybe there were some excersises i could do to speed up my pull offs.

Just got to take it slow and work your way up. Working with a metronome will probably help that as well. Start it slow and when you can comfortably play that at a slow tempo gradually move up.

Whatever you do, don't eat limes. A friend of mine ate a lime once and BAM!! Two years later. Herpes.

Use the metronome, it is very important for timing.....And if you want some stuff with intense pull offs and alternate picking.....listen to some Zakk Wylde, Gary Moore and John Sykes stuff.

Those 3 are the masters of fast hammer and Pull offs.

When you are having trouble with one aspect of something, you need to isolate theproblem and practice it repetatively. If you are having trouble with pull-offs just practice that. Practice scales and modes using only pull-offs. I presume that your ring finger and pinkie are what is giving you the most trouble. (I am a guitar/music instructor and this is very common.) Just practice pull-offs between those two fingers. Start with a half step pull-off then move to whole step and furthur if you feel comfortable with it.

I used to have the same problem with a different song. i grabbed a bass guitar and started doing the same scale as if it were a normal guitar. since the strings are bigger and harder to push down it worked my fingers out and about a week later i was noticably faster. maybe its a little ghetto style but it worked.
