In "Audio" section you can download mp3 tracks of my album (instrumental blues-rock).

Or to listen to album trailer right from here (1:56, 1.8Mb).

Not bad.
Are you paying royalties on the cover tunes?
I was gonna do a cover tune on one of my CD's but the Harry Fox Agency told me it was like $3000 to license it so I said to hell with it.

What were you gonna cover?

Was it the Spice Girls?
I want the bomb
I want the P-funk!

My band is better than yours...

I was gonna take those bootleg copies of the 'Ultra Beatles' discs and use the ones with just the harmonies in one channel and the music in the other, then redo the music myself.
Or soup up the alternate versions of stuff like 'I'm Looking Through You'.
It woulda been fun cause I could just use all the beatles harmonies or Paul McCartney on one channel then completely redo the music using modern instruments and synths then throw in a Van halen solo or something.

Well, I live in Russia, the laws here are really different from the US ones... I mean we have absence of commercial music laws... Almost...
And also my CD is not commercial... I made it at my own expense for friends and relatives just for fun... Since I have no prophit, I shoulnd't pay royalties, right?

Copyrights are valid worldwide but whether or not you got sued would depend on a lot of things.
Like whether the original artist could afford the lawsuit and if it would be worth their time and money to pursue it versus the benefits they'd get out of it.

I think as long as you're crediting the original writer and just posting it for fun, then you don't have a whole lot to worry about. But if you get a cease and desist order from the original publisher, I'd take it down asap.
