for a slide, does 7/9\7 indicate that you slide up to the 9th fret from the 7th fret, then pick the 9th fret note before sliding back down to the 7th fret?....or does it indicate that you slide up to the 9th fret from the 7th fret, then slide back down to the 7th fret w/out picking the 9th fret note? also, would you pick the 7th fret note after you slide back down from the 9th fret?
i also learned that a slur over the slide indicates that the note that you slide to isn't picked, but if there is not a slur, then the note that you slide to is picked. how does this affect my previous question? for example if i had a slide notated 7/9\7, and the slide up to the 9th fret had a slur but the slide from the 9th fret to the 7th fret did not have a slur, then what would this indicate in relation to my 1st question? srry if this is a little confusing
