i came across a notation for a slide that looked like this 7/9\7, there was a slur above the first slide from the 7th to the 9th fret, but there wasn't a slur above the 2nd slide from the 9th to the 7th fret. i learned that the slur indicated that you didn't strike the target note of the slide while no slur meant that you struck the second note. but if it's notated 7/9\7 and there's a slur above the first slide and no slur above the second slide, then would you slide up to the 9th fret and strike the note before sliding back down to the 7th fret.....or would you slide up to the 9th fret and then without striking the 9th fret note, slide back down to the 7th fret?
