yea, I can see how it might be Vai.
His yellow guitar looks like a JEM 777 aswell. But if it was Vai, it would say its played by him becuase Vai is such an icon.

He's probably a huge fan of Vai who can play his stuff very well. If it was actually the man himself, it probably would've been on Steve's website.

Did anyone actually read the "credits"? For crying outloud, it tells you who the guitarist is, what he does for a living, what gives him gas, if he's ticklish or not.
