That's something that always kinda bugged me. People would have really detailed and tough leads, but when it came to the rhythm, they just didn't try or something. I hate that and it's for that reason that I try and make all the drums, bass, rhythm guitars, and leads in the songs I write as tough as I can. So far so good I guess because no one in one of my bands (myself included) can play any of the songs all the way through.
