I was wondering where I would need to cappo my guitar to change a G, D, C chord pattern to a C, F, G

Any input would be helpful

Depends on which C you're playing.

Either the third or the 5th.

For this I'm going to assume that your original G, D, C were all open position chords with no bar. In that case, you'll bar the 5th fret.

Actually, wait a minute. How the hell are we going to change the G, D, C chord pattern to C, F, G without changing at least TWO of the chords? F is the fourth of C whereas D is the fifth of G. Do you mean C, G, F? or G, C, D? I'm going to assume you meant to type G, C, D, in which case my answer remains the same.

Haha yeah he probably meant G-C-D to C-F-G
And yeah I second the notion that you should put your capo on the 5th fret. What song are you playing?
