Thanks for the reply. I didn't explain myself properly. It's not that I'm trying to play any particular song but when I play riffs or scales and such I have trouble knowing which finger on my fret hand [unless its obvious] where to place it. I'm talking about jumping from say a riff 4 3 2 1 on the high E string then to the 9th fret B or G string 9 7 11 13 then to the then back to the E string with a different set of notes. Just an example. I just thought there might be a tip about this.Setting yourself up for the next set of notes
