i cant get any of the videos to display at all. also when i try to listen to an mp3 track it wont play and goes to some "blockpage" screen that is completely blank. i run firefox. does anyone have an idea about this?

i would rather sit in class and learn new songs everyday even though i know alot of rgae against the machine songs i would rather do that then learn for real.

You need to install the latest version of Flash.
Remove any previous versions of Flash then empty out your browsers cache, install the new version and then restart. That should get it working.
I've got the Mac address for Flash but the Windoze version should be easy enough to find.

btw: if you're on a Mac, consider using Safari instead of Firefox. It doesn't have all the groovy bells and whistles but it runs faster. The problem with Firefox is, the more extensions you add, the slower it gets.

For just a beginners guitar I would recommend something like a Squier Strat. Not a cheap one that comes in a starters pack, but just the guitar itself.
Some people may disagree, but I had a squier strat as a first guitar and I still use it every now and then up to this day and I think it sounds like a descent guitar.
