Oh and can anyone recommend any other good semi hollow guitars for the budget conscious?
Epiphone Sheraton.Yay or nay?
I just came across a recent second hand model sheraton. It looks great, I pretty much only play rocky music with overdrive etc, so Im wondering whether its worth a try considering it seems to be mainly used by jazz and blues musicians.

Go for it, man. You can get some unique rock tones out of a hollowbody. And who knows - maybe it'll get you into jazz! :)

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

I'd give it a go...if nothing else, they look classy.
Other great semi-hollows that are very good on a budget...um...any Ibanez artcore will be well worth what you shell out for it...and some of the Gretsch Electromatics as well

Try it - you'll like it!
I jam with a guy who plays one. Its a sweet axe, with a sound unlike any of the solid-bodies I usually play.
