Ok, so I bought a slide on Friday, and found some instruction online. While this is just a simple progression in G. This is a first at an alternate tuning (d-g-d-g-b-d) and the first trying to do anything serious with a slide. So before you tell me I know this sucks, but the hope is someone will hear where Im at and maybe give me some hints.. Thanks in advance.

That's some hot shiz!
The slide is a beautiful tool.
You seem to have great command of it for a beginner. I'd highly reccomend you stick with it.

Could you please post or pm me a link to the site where you got the lesson? I'd really appreciate it. :)

You're welcome Howard. I tried using a slide years ago. I never got the hang of it. I just don't think I gave it enough time. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your time.
I'm going to go bust out my slide. :D

Interesting that you posted this because I just started playing slide again a couple weeks ago, and now I'm using it on a ballad my band is doing. It sounds pretty good playing it over the piano.
