can u use the amplifier as a speaker for a laptop?i can no longer use my old one as it has to go back to my sis and my laptop doesnt have the socket for it to plug into...so it wont work...will it kill the amp?

alot of amp have a second line in or cd input that works independant of all the controls, if your amp has one of these try it, you may need a cable which splits a 1/82 jack to left and right speakers or a 1/8" to a 1/4" converter volume will probably be controled by your computer, i wouldnt recomend plugging it into where you plug your guitar in.

It'll work fine, as long as you don't blast too much bass through it.

I took a 1/4 to 1/8 cable and ran my Ipod through my little 10w and worked fine. The only problem was that it came through mono, It was a sterio cable but I'm assuming its because of the amp having a mono input.

why not buy some $5 speakers instead of using a very expensive amplifier?
