Simpleton question about wireless guitar systems:
How do you determine what frequency range to purchace (since some of these systems like the akg bug are Fixed Frequency Transmitters)?

Much appreciated

Word among us bassists is that it weakens the frequency substantially.

Would it be the same with a geetar?

If I were to go wireless I would go with the Carvin system. It's 250 bucks, get's great reviews, UHF, and I'm pretty sure you can change the channel/frequency on it. I've heard some bad things about the guitar bug.

Well, if other people around you are using wireless, find out what freq. they use and buy a unit with a different freq.
