I liked the song, REALLY liked the rhythm stuff. Lot of Van Halen/Joe Satriani chord progressions in there, very cool. The lead was fine, however, if you used a pick, you'd be able to do those runs a lot faster and more smoothly. The parts you fingerpick sound broken-up and over-staccatoed, I used to fingerpick the electric, too, and my scalar runs sound INFINITELY better now that I've switched to a pick. Other than that, though, you have some great ideas in there.

That was excellent! You had some great progressions there, particularly the introductory riff. I liked the way you followed the ya-ya section with the wah solo. The distortion on the rhythm guitar was a bit heavy at times, but all of the riffs were great. It's encouraging to hear a fellow fingerstyle player turn out such a good rock track :)

Thanks Jolly McJollyson, is to late for me for learn play with a pick, too many years playing with my fingers. The irregular sound of the solos, will be resolve with practiseeing, cause I had start play guitar again after a few years with no play.

Thanks jiujitsu_jesus, there´s no necessary play with pick, I had play themes by Metallica, Satriani, Vai, Van Halen, etc, with fingerstyle, and with a good skill in fingerstyle, is possible play it as well as them.

It'll be much easier to learn a pick. Don't say it's too late, because that's simply not true, I only started using a pick three years ago.

Sounds pretty good man, the way it started I thought it was going to be Van Halen :D the song I think was "Come'on baby finished what you started"

Yes Guitar_guy, Van Halen was a inspiration for all the riffs of the main guitar, but I was thinking in "Jump" for the initial riff. Thanks for your opinion.

Actually, Jolly's probably right about using a pick. I mean, I'm okay with my fingers because I mainly play jazz-blues and psychedelia, but if you're playing rock, you get a much more "rocky" sound with the pick. It's worth getting used to the pick if you're going to focus on rock guitar.
