I did my first recording and I wanna put it on Soundclick.com, but it keeps telling me I can only upload MP3s. What do I have to do guys?

There are a few freeware converters but they usually limit the amount of conversions you can do. Ummm, damn I'm on my laptop or I'd give you a few names. In a few, I'll get 'em.

Go to www.download.com and look for a free mp3 convertor, check the rank and comments before you choose one though. I use Cubase to save wavs as MP3's but it can also be done using Creative Labs media player... what software you got?

my bet is that it saved it as a .wav file. i have two recording programs on my computer for this reason. i do recordings on Kristal, and i change it to mp3 on Audacity, as well as do any little changes i want. it works out well that way.

Well I downloaded Power MP3 off of download.com, converted the song into .wav form, I uploaded the song on the site, and it still said "You are restricted to only upload mp3 files.
Please go back and try again." WTF?

Edit: So I take it it cannot be in .wav form....

.wav is a wave file. You need to convert it to .mp3.
