My new multiple-effects pedal has a whammy function. I've been messing around with it in my improvisations, but have, thus far, been unable to come up with anything worth listening to. I was wondering whether anybody had any suggestions as to how to use whammy effectively.

I like to set mine to "up one octave" and wander up to the 12 fret, bend upwards and then stomp on the pedal !
