if I'm not mistaken, cryptic does the death metal growl, where it's all low and you can't understand what they're saying.. lamb of god style growling goes alot higher in pitch, and you can understand it if you listen closely.

I've been trying to teach myself the lamb of god style.. I'm getting better, but I definitely wouldn't try it on a stage at all.. I kinda do it from the back of the thoat.. it works some days, and not on others.. and I can't sing it very loud..
