yeah, and a les paul isn't the only gibson in the world.. what about an SG? I've seen plenty of metal bands use an SG, though schecter is make a break-through in the metal genre as well. I see les pauls all the time for metal. not to mention those gibson flying V's, can you get more metal then a flying V?
also, ESP isn't that bad. I've played one, and thought it was a great guitar for the price, I didn't buy it because my SG was still better, but this was only a cheapie ESP, it only cost like $280 or something like that. and I thought it was pretty good. though it was a les paul knockoff.
I'll give that 2-string thing where you bend one string, and just play another. I'm not near any guitars right now.. even though I have to be at my guitar class in 45 minutes, but I accidently slept in this morning, and then in my haste to get out the door, I completely forgot it. so, this should be interesting, playing air guitar at my class.. yeah!
