I recorded this one last night....well this morning really from like 2:30 to 4:30. Got done editing and eqing and all that Jazz around 6:00 and now its here for you. There's even a little bass solo. Enjoy!

the backing is sweet. the guitar solo sounded like an inprov tho. was it?

I did alot of takes and found the pieces I like. The hardest part was timing the bass solo. :eek: It still didn't turn out great there was a phantom note or two in there.

My LP can really sing eh? It is actually one of the first songs I ever wrote. The chord progression anyway. This song was a tribute to my dear 'ol Epi which birthed this song and was rightful owner of the recording privleges. The lead was my Gibson though. I just put down what feels right. A theory guy would probably say WTF was he thinking. I need to play with feeling. It's the only way I really know how.

I used a Roland VS-880ex in to my soundcard. Then Cakewalke Music Creator for the mixing and post effects. I got the Roland on ebay for $300. The soundcard (M-audio Audiophile 2496) for a $100. Not a bad little setup for under $500.
