Hallo!

Anyone out there who can write lyrics?
I'm into making my own stuff but I need some support with the writing.
I'm not so good at lyrics, I just master the guitar. :D

I bet Jolly could handle this one!

But anyway, what kind of music are you interested in writing?
"It's all folk music... I ain't never heard no horse sing!"
- Attributed variously to Leadbelly and Louis Armstrong

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.

Honestly if I wanted to write music like a particular band, I'd listen to a bunch of their songs, then create melodies that used devices and intervals similar to Bon Jovi's style. Then I'd put generic Bon Jovi lyrics to them.

Don't tell me anything's changed
To make us any less estranged
Cuz Nothin's Changed
And The story remains the same
And I've got
more pills...to kill the pain
I want the bomb
I want the P-funk!

My band is better than yours...

I'm with Jolly on this one, that's exactly what you should do. If I listened to Bon Jovi enough to know his style I would give you a demonstration. Wait...did I just use "Bon Jovi" and "style" in the same sentence!? That's almost as bad as "Bon Jovi" and "music"!

But anyway I always write songs in the style of different bands for laughs, like dumb punk-pop or crappy joke-metal songs. That's all there is to it, just listen for what the patterns are for the genre/band and write lyrics that you think they would, or as the case may be that are parodic of what they would.
You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.
