stop stopping music
i'm pretty new 2 guitar and every time i play i pause every second 2 get my fingers in the exact position and i cant cause 1 or more of my fingers r touching strings they shouldn't so i have dead chords how do i play fluidly without stoping every time i need 2 change the note

Pick out two chords to start with, and practice changing smoothly from one to the other. You have to do this a lot, so that your fingers will remeber where to go. This is something called "muscle memory", and it takes time to develop. Just keep at it.

Yeah sooner or later your fingers will remember where to go. The more you play the chords the easier they'll get.

Yeah pretty much what the other guys said try playing slower and then going faster. This way you wont be so frustrated. :D

Yeah pretty much what the last thre guys said. There's not a person in the world that doesn't start out that way. All you can do is keep practicing, and eventually your fingers will learn it (long before your head does).Soon you wont have to think about where to put your fingers at all, they'll just know.
